Native Blanket - Framed

We remember our past, it is handed down to us through stories from our elders. Those that were there know the truth. Where our people were moved, torn from their lands and traditions, was unfamiliar and isolated. Promises were broken and the people were in need. The cloth with the stars and the stripes was just that, cloth. For an old woman who might be cold it was a blanket to keep her warm.
